Today I became a credit untion member. I have been a big bank customer for a lot of years now, but it is time. I opened my account, and will submit the changes for my direct deposit this coming week. Hopefully they can get it switched by payday, but if not it will at least be in process. The credit union I picked has lots of ATMs and a decent online site, so it should be pretty painless.
